1. What this covers

This Policy explains how Doopl uses cookies, browser storage (such as local storage) and similar technologies on doopl.ai. It also explains email tracking, which is a separate thing.

2. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the site to work. They can't be switched off within Doopl.

The following describes purposes, not a verified inventory of individual cookie names or lifetimes. Storage duration depends on the provider, browser, session settings and sign-out. Stripe may use its own cookies when you visit Stripe checkout.

PurposeExamples
Sign-in and sessionKeeping you signed in after an email sign-in link, and session refresh using browser storage from Supabase
Security and anti-abuseBot protection and network security provided through Cloudflare infrastructure
CheckoutMaintaining order state when going to Stripe checkout and back; Stripe may use its own cookies on its checkout pages for payment and fraud prevention

3. Analytics

No verified inventory of optional website analytics technologies is published here. Before introducing non-essential analytics, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required by law.

4. Marketing and advertising cookies

Advertising pixels and marketing cookies are not part of the described service. Any future use requires updated disclosures and consent where required by law.

5. Email tracking (not a browser cookie)

Doopl emails are sent through SendGrid. We currently turn off SendGrid open tracking and click tracking on every email we send, so links go straight to doopl.ai. If we turn either on in future, it would work like this:

  • Open tracking uses a small invisible image in the email to record when it is opened.
  • Click tracking sends links through a SendGrid tracking address before taking you to doopl.ai, so it can record clicks.

We will update this Policy before turning either on.

Any such tracking happens in your email program, not through cookies on doopl.ai. Some email apps block remote images, which limits open tracking. Unsubscribing from marketing stops marketing emails. It doesn't change the cookie settings in your browser, and it doesn't stop essential service emails such as sign-in links and receipts.

6. Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies or storage, sign-in and checkout may stop working.
  • Doopl doesn't currently have a cookie consent banner or preference center. If we add non-essential cookies, we'll offer the controls the law requires.
  • Marketing sending is disabled until consent, suppression and unsubscribe controls are implemented. When marketing emails are sent, use their unsubscribe link to opt out.
  • You may have additional rights under applicable law. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

We'll update this Policy when our use of cookies changes. Each version has a version number and an effective date.
